5G in India is no more a dream, it is finally almost here, all you need to know about it
Recently in the bidding for 5G spectrum all the telcos have bid for spectrum and they have the spectrums on their name, Jio has the highest bid of about 88,078 crores and acquired 24,740 MHz spectrum, which is followed by Airtel by Rs 43,084 crores and acquired 19,867.8 MHz spectrum, then comes Vodafone Idea with bid of 18,784 crores.
This time there was a new name in the bidding that is Adani group, although they are not jumping in consumer sector, they are going to use 26 GHz bands to set up private network for end to end communication in six states Gujrat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
Some of the leaks also suggested that Jio could launch its 5G on Independence day, To which Airtel also responded with statement of launching Airtel 5G on 15th August.
So are you ready for this? You'll definitely need a 5G smartphone to access 5G network with bands like n77, n78, n71, etc. Almost all of the 5G phones launched in India supports N78 band which means all the folks who have these devices can enjoy 5G once it's available in their region.
