The Micromax is an Indian smartphone brand which was quite popular in past but it is now making a comeback with some good smartphones. Around a year back Micromax launched IN Note 1 which got a nice response from consumers. Now comes the successor of it, IN Note 2. Let us have a look at the specifications.
Display & Processor:
The IN Note 2 comes with 6.43" FHD+ AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, which will definitely improve your binge watch experience. Then surprisingly it has Glass back with a 9H level of hardness, it will resist scratches from some daily use objects. It is packed with a powerful processor from Mediatek i.e. helio G95. It is really a capable processor and a well tested one with awesome results. This processor is really a great deal in this price range and with liquid cooling tecnology, the performance will be awesome while gaming as it will not let the device heat too much.
Camera:
Talking about the camera, you'll have a quad camera setup at the rear with the combination of 48MP main sensor along with 5+2+2 completing the quad camera module. The features in the camera are quite impressive. You'll have Panorama, Burst Mode, Time Lapse, Face Beauty, Night Mode, Slow Motion, QR Scanner, Pro Mode. For selfies, there's a 16MP front camera with Face beauty, night mode, potrait mode.
OS & Storage:
Then comes the other highlighting part, the stock android with Android 11. Yeah many people will prefer stock android over custom UI. It comes in just one variant till now i.e 4GB Ram + 64GB Internal storage. However you can expand the storage with SD cards as it has dedicated memory slot, which is no doubt a good thing.
Battery:
The battery department of this phone is also a beast looking at the price. a 5000mAh battery with 30W charger in box is really quite impressive. The expected weight of the devices comes nearly at 205g.
Design:
The main attraction of the device is it's design. You may have had a look at it and thought it resembles with a popular smartphone which is none another than the Samsungs Galaxy S21 Ultra. But it's not the same as that and you get a glass back which makes it feel so premium with that flagship look.
Talking about the pricing, for 4+64GB it is priced at Rs 13,490/- with an introductory price of Rs 12,490/- on it's first sale at 30th jan. If you're planning to buy it, just try to get it in the first sale itself.
